Metal wire grid polarizers regulate the polarization state of light by forming a periodic metal wire grid structure on the surface of glass/quartz.
Reflective metal wire grid polarizers feature small volume, high transmittance, and a high transmission cutoff ratio. Compared with conventional absorptive iodine-based/dye-based polarizers, they have stronger resistance to environmental interference. They can be customized for application scenarios of different wavelength bands and are widely used in optical fields such as communications, optical imaging, liquid crystal displays, and sensing.
